Cases are an effective (and interesting!) way to tell the world about the high value of your product/service, your major achievements - and to gain trust in yourself. Cases are interesting to everyone, and they work much more clearly than regular reviews - because they tell the reader in detail HOW you solved the client's problem.

And because a well-thought-out case convinces the reader that you can solve his problem just as successfully, it becomes an excellent tool for converting potential clients into real ones.

Writing a couple of cases and getting clients is, of course, great... But writing a cool case is quite difficult, and there are rules here!

In this article we:

Let's clearly explain what a case is;
we will try to convince you why there should be good cases on the site;
We will provide a step-by-step guide on how to write a case that will touch a potential client's heart;
We will show cool examples of successful business projects.
What are case studies and why do readers love them so much?
A business case is a short but self-sufficient story about how you solved (or did not solve - sometimes cases are written about failures) a problem posed to you by a client.

Like every story, a case has a logical structure - a beginning, middle and end, and the main character in it is your client. Cases can vary significantly in length, but all cases have at least one thing in common - everyone just loves to read them!

Why?

Our heads are designed in such a way that we are always interested in learning something new about others. Especially if there is hope that it will help us too.

The most interesting thing is that people are much more interested in reading about failures than they are intrigued by success stories - so use this! But keep yourself in hand and remember that any fail needs to be "brought" into success at the end of the case (if possible).

Who needs cases?
Cases are suitable for almost any company, but there are industries for which cases, as an effective tool for increasing sales, will work best. These are, for example:

service providers (SaaS, startups, advertising agencies);
creating products in a single copy individually for the client, taking into account his wishes and needs;
using deep expertise to provide a service or manufacture a product.
4 Reasons Why Case Studies Should Be on Your Website
According to the research reports of "B2B Marketing", 66% of marketers out of 112 respondents testify to the high efficiency of cases in attracting new clients. Another 32% agree that marketing cases with solutions are one of the best formats for strengthening the company's image.

Attracting new potential clients
case examples
People often share interesting cases. For example, a person who was on page seo service not interested in your offer liked the cases he found on your website and shared them on social networks.

From there, 10 of his friends will come to your site, 5 of whom will turn out to be your potential clients.

Demonstration of expertise and formation of the company's leading position in a certain niche/niches
This is what your successful cases with clear results speak about.

As your company expands into new verticals, you will need case studies to continue your market penetration. Don’t underestimate the power of a well-written case study to demonstrate your real-world experience in a given industry.

Increasing brand loyalty among potential customers
A case is the best social proof that builds audience loyalty.

Potential clients want to be sure that your product/service is really worth their attention. Your website may have at least fifty reviews with real photos of satisfied clients and even links to their social media accounts, but... everyone has them.

And only you have a unique case dedicated to a specific problem of a specific client that YOU solved! This is “that very thing”, direct proof of your professionalism and experience.

Converting Leads into Buyers (Bingo!)
Cases demonstrate that all your company's efforts are focused on solving customer problems and are aimed at their successful resolution. This is the "point" beyond which the visitor makes a firm decision to buy.

What to write about in case studies?
While we perform miracles every day, we often don't even notice them. This often happens with professionals!

But at some point, it's time to think about how to write a case study that will impress a potential client, or that other companies will want to use.

Many of us already have many reasons for creating a case:

Conclusion of a major contract
Usually, such “happiness” is preceded by a chain of targeted actions – an innovative approach to work, coordinated interaction of all departments, a successful advertising campaign, successfully completed negotiations – all of this is interesting to your readers.

Significant increase in profits
And all the important factors that led to this. For example, you launched a new service that provided a flow of new clients, or you changed your approach to work, which led to an unprecedented reduction in costs.

If record profits were a fluke, you can always analyze how you can use that fluke in the future and share those predictions in a case study.

Solving a common problem in an unconventional way
Share your successful life hacks! For example, you managed to "promote" a new service of a famous mobile operator with the help of an amateur viral video shot by your employees, in the evening, in the elevator of your office.
